Woo Hoo! E-Check finally got the boot in most Ohio counties.

Only thing I don't understand is how they can exclude Cinci and leave it some nortern counties? Cinci is Ohio's BIGGEST polluter...bar none!

Not to be real stupid but I assume you mean emission testing of your automobile and not electronic checking????

Yes...We've been fighting it for ten years for one reason...it's not fair not to do it statewide. Never have understood that

Actually a brand new car is more pollutant that a year old vehicle. When a new vehicle gets inspected it does not go thru the emmisions test, every one of them would fail.

The heck with E-checks, why not just a simple safety check? Since I moved here from Va., most of the cars would not pass a simple safety check in Va.

Hey in MD they check the em every 2 years for emissions but only when they are sold for saftey..
