A few months ago someone posted about fabricating a mount to lower their transducer on the transom of their aluminum rig. I believe that this was done so the depth finder would work at speed, on plane. The post even had pictures, which is good for me.

For the life of me, I can't find it. I've used the search feature, but still can't come up with it. Do any of you remember the post or the author? I would like to check it out and explore the possibilities.

Thanks, GO LADY VOLS.

Opps, that's supposed to be under Electronics, etc.

Sorry, I've been up all night.

Got it! Don't know how to link it here but do a search in electronics for "Mcgyver bracket" and it'll get you there. Authir was Bill. Hutch

Hey Steve, I'm having the same problem. I think they call it "cupping". I've adjusted mine per the instructions with the unit, but can't seem to get it right.
