Well after struggling with a job loss, short sale and general economic woes - the wife and I are about to be home owners once again. To make a long story shorter, we were able to talk to a banker here in Fort Worth and they are providing the financing. We put a sizeable chunk down, but that has many positive side effectes including not having a huge balance or monthly payment. Our goal is to actually have it completely paid off in 5-7 years.

The link below shows the home we are buying. Old very established neighborhood of E. Fort Worth (many, many trees) and it's been upgraded nicely. Huge garage and slab built 'workshop' in the back.

Last 8-10 really show how nice the yard is.

We are packing, and will be closing/moving next Wednesday! :D:p:wub::cool:

I've worked a lot of horseshows there; always liked Ft. Worth. Great food at Elaines on Camp Bowie, and La Familia off of University. I liked the "Lonesome Dove" at the Stockyards, but i thought it was a little pricey.

Tex, if anyone deserves some blessings it's you! Your new place looks awesome. I am jealous that you won't have snow or really cold weather for 6 months every year :)
