We posted a few pic's!!...Had a blast man,.....I finally broke the 6lb mark!..Got it on a Spro Aruku Shad in the "cell mate" color. Had the usual gang....Me, Mini, Carlos, Tox, Neeley, Jonathan, Teri,...and Gene drove over for a day too. The week started out cold and windy,...and we went from 100mph suits on Friday and Saturday, to sweating our butts off on Sun, Mon-Thurs with hi 80's......but, the fish still ate every day, even with that much of a temp swing!!



You're ALWAYS welcome anytime....just pick a date and c'mon up!! My wife and I are empty nester's now too, so we even have room to put you up for a couple days, no problem!!

Depends on the weather,.....i just heard a long term forcast of "above avg. temps" for Sept/Oct/Nov. We'll fish into Nov. if it's not too cold!! It get's really good in Oct after the majority of guys head for the trees...



That lake is on FIYAH now though....and the river channels are turning on too.....I sooo can't wait to get my boat back!! Hopefully this weekend!!

I live a little farther north than most of ya. There are always a few trees that turn in August. Water temps are still in the 70s, so we've been fishing deep.



Nice fish Mac...I saw them on FB. I'm still looking for a 6 pounder, maybe I'll crack a smile for the pic when I do!

70's...that's great! Went to Caesers Creek last week and it was 89 to 90



The lakes around here are in their "dog day" patterns so I may head down the Mad River this weekend...and that water is cold even in summer.

Thanks Mini, I'll see Carlos this weekend and I'll remind him of the pic situation. My house doesn't look like the same place, mainly because I am neck deep in boxes. My stuff got delivered today, Deanna's dad's apartment got delivered Friday. Along with my stuff came Deanna's grandmothers stuff and with her dad's came a lot of stuff that her mom added to the truck. DirecTV went out last night, sink plumbing in the kitchen blew Saturday, wife's car had to head to the shop because someone backed into it and caved the rear quarter and she busted the windshield on the way home from her last trip to Florida. I've got 4 vehicles, no garage thanks to the movers and crap strung out every where. :lol::lol::lol::lol:Welcome Home!! Shoot me your pics when you get a chance.
