How's the big fish contest coming? Any submissions yet? How about smallies? I didn't see Marke's but Mike's was 4.4lbs. And Buzz's largemouth, well we didn't weigh it, but I can vouch that it was all of 5lbs. I'm sure that one will get broken, but are either of them in the lead?

Second note, how is your boat? By the sounds of it, you're still boatless too.

Oh and don't worry Buzz, we'll get you into some bigger ones come the rally to keep you in contention. Something tells me that with the caliber of anglers here, 4 and 5 lbers won't hold up for long.

Dadgum!! I forgot all about that contest...what were the rules? I've probably caught a dozen fish between 5 and 7 lbs. that I didn't even take pic's of.

I forgot about it too Adam!! LOL,...But I do remember it was a gentleman's (and womens) bet,...and pix's ARE req'd! (Sorry Adam!!) It was for the Biggest Smallie and the Biggest Largemouth of the year,..and If I remember correctly it goes from May 25th to Nov. 15th!! Why May?

'Cuz we can't legally fish for them until then and I'm making the rules!! ahahahaa....Why Nov. 15th?? 'Cuz I'm going Deer hunting then!!! (Refer to last sentence!)

The winner of each category gets a customized matted and signed commmerative "Scales and Tales" Super Toad of 2002 award....and anything else I feel like throwing in!! Am I forgetting anything?? Thanks for the reminder Rob!! Guess I had too many other things on my mind lately,..i forgot!!

Anyway,..yes, I got my boat back today,..but it needs to go back at a later date,...the gel doesn't match!! (Too long of a story to get into here...it'll get fixed though!!)

Have to pre-fish this weekend and I've got to get new batteries, a new charger, maybe a new Trolling Motor,..who knows!! I'm just screwed all the way around right now!! LOL

I just can't wait for the rally,...I'll be ready for some R&R and toad smallies by then!! I need it BAD!!!!!

Rob, my fish was much bigger than Mike's (the photo of me in the camo sweat shirt). 4.6lbs to be exact ). Not to mention the one I didn't weigh. Seriously, there was one smallie that got hooked pretty deep. I tried to get the jig head out and the moment I saw a little blood and cut the line and threw her back. I would have loved to know what she weighed, but I wanted to get her in the water ASAP. Reading a scale was not worth risking any more injury than necessary.

Well May 25th is coming quick. I for one, would like a custom scales and tales before Mac gets so big that he can't accomodate us anymore! LOL. So, sorry fellas, the smallie contest is gonna be between me and Mini on Clair. LOL I'm going all out on this one. I am trying to get stuff to fill a den once I have one in a house! LOL Right now I have a nice deer mount, some great pics, need Mac's art, and some fiberglass replicas and my BPS mini experience will be complete with a leather arm chair, fireplace, pointer at my feet and gun library wrap around like Cabela's! AHHHH to dream!
