In a message posted to Mac, you said:

I found a product that just wipes away the hair line stress cracks or atleast you can't tell that their there.

Wondering if you would care to elaborate on that product?

Thnaks!

I figured that this post would raise some eyebrowes.

The product is called Island Girl.I first bought it last year to remove the oxidation on my tf170. When I when I uncovered the boat this spring I was amazed how it looked as if I had just applied it .I bought several of their products at a package price. The problem was you needed a PhD. To understand the directions. Something I believe they have since changed. When you visit there site you'll understand more why.Anyways I would swear by it.

I used it on the new boat (Mac's former ride 901 CDX)its a dark blue metalic.I was applying their Simple Brillent Polish.Even on a shiny surface I could see the spots I had missed! My real surprise(and a nice one at that)was when I wiped it over the hair-line cracks on the corners of each console(winshield)The cracks seemed to wipe away ! I took of my glasses to get a closer look and I really did have to look close to even notice they were still there.Looking at the cracks though from a normal distance there gone!!

Ok I just went out to check the boat and there still gone. Its been several weeks and the boat has been out several times and in the rain. Try it and let everyone else know how it works. The stuff seems to just soak into the stress cracks and stays there.I 'm not sure how it will work on a white or lighter color suface ?

Anyone how wants to try it on a white hull let me know and I'll send you a small vile and we'll find out.

Almost forgot the web address; www.islandgirlproducts.com

Hi Mark,

I have a white 901 CDX w/ a couple stress cracks. Would you mind bringing a small vile of the product to the pre-tournament meeting at Whitefish. Or, if you would like to call me at 665-1750 or 458-5602 I can certainly pick it up as I live in Cottage Grove.

Thanks,

Dan Bonneson

I have a tin rig with a rivet missing, you think that stuff would make that tiny hole disappear? Just kidding.

Man i need to go fishing,

Wolf

Wolfcount The stuff only works on fiberglass. There is even a warning on the label ;WARNING known to eat ant completly disolve without a trace TIN!! LOL

Dan,

I'll put the bottle in my bag right know and catch you up there.I'm headed up tommorrow to pre-fish and then will go back up friday morning.I'll be staying at the Americinn lodge about 14 mi. away the closest thing I could find.
