Just posted this on the dealer report card section and wanted you all to see it here (Bradford Marine in Hot Springs, AR).

Had a power tilt motor go bad. Took it to the dealer on 2/18/02 and watched them go through the same elimination process I had done and come to the same conclusion.

Even though they were working hard on a delivery of 15 boatsand getting ready for the first boat show, they took the time to work my problem. I had two things going against me, the part had to be ordered and they had back to back boat shows coming up. They explained that up front. They finished my boat today (3/6/02) and I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Most of the delay was because of the boat shows. I figure that as long as a dealer is honest with me and does acceptable work, what more can I ask for?

I think I may have sold a boat for them while I was leaving mine. I mentioned that I had a PT175 and the salesman (without knowing me from Adam or why I was there) asked me my opinion of the boat for a gentleman that was looking at the same model. I was happy to praise the boat as I was only being honest.

Just goes to show ya, we as customer's do understand, when told the TRUTH! And a happy customer can and will help a dealer sell boats and service. Hmmmm, isn't that remarkable a dealer made more money treating his customer with a little respect. That's a smart Dealer!
