Frank Hubart of Fleece Corner has stepped up to be our guinea pig for a group buy.

Fleece Corner is offering us their 5-Way Windbloc Hood, regularly $29, at $17 if we reach a group minimum of 10.

Here's how the deal works: Click on Group Buys under the Resources menu. You will be asked to log in if you are not already logged in. Look at the offer. If you want in on it, just click the "Join" button, and your name is added to the group buy list. You'll see the current count.

You can also remove yourself from the group by clicking the Remove button. But please, try to think of the sign up as a purchase commitment, for the sake of everyone involved. If you have any question about your desire to follow through, don't join the group.

Frank will have access to a list of member names who sign up for the purchase. If we reach 10 or more, he will contact people on the list via member email addresses to arrange your purchase.

If anyone has questions or problems using this feature, please email me.

Frank, thanks for trying it out. I hope it serves all of our interests.

rich,do they have pictures of the stuff we are looking at buying?

Yessir, just go to the group buys page. You can click on the "More details", or you can follow the sponsor link back to the sponsor's web site where the products are normally sold.

Definitely encourage ya'll to jump in on this one. I already own two of them or I'd be all over these things. AWESOME hoods that keep both your head and neck warm...combine with a good pair of goggles and your set for those early spring, high speed, low temp runs across your lake!

Rich, Would it help if a thread was started for members to list things that they would be interested in buying? Such as bulk items: Jig hooks, Tube Baits, etc. This would give you an idea for of the types of items to go after?

Polarized wrap around glasses and jigs would be a great start. I don't like paying $2 for a quality jig, but am too lazy to make my own! I go through about 20-30 a season easy!

Lead Head Jigs in "Bulk"; Large Spools of Line..."Fireline"; Synthetic Outboard Oil in "Bulk"; and A New Head of Hair!

Corona's and limes!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, Rich....couldn't resist.
