Tom,Is that a 225 or 200?I have an 03 DC with a 200 EFI.Wish I had just a little more HP.I also have an 8 inch jack plate on it and it helped the holeshot a bunch.I love mine.

its a 200opti. I do not have a jackplate on it. Going to run it first and find out if there is a need for it. I had a 200 EFI on my last one. I can tell you that the optimax has made a big difference on the performance.
