Fall Bite - down South

Fall bite seems to be running at Lake Anna - even with water temps still reading mid-80's



Here are some pics of some of what Carter and I got this morning. Carter managed a few but didn't want pictures; guess he was camera shy this morning!. Our total take was about a dozen (two were cats).

Love the hot side, best game in town during the winter. Always enjoy getting down and saying hi to Bill and Martie, but I hope the first visit is still several months away. Hoping for a very long fall bite on the Potomac.

Hot side all year round!! In fact, was on the lower Potomac only once this year - and got skunked. Not worth the DC license fee, fed registration, fighting the ramp traffic, etc. Guess I got spoiled! Also want to learn the cold side better. Besides, since I spend about 1/3 of my time in California these days, I really don't have much time to get out as I used to.
