My non-Nitro buddy is having problems spinning his hubs. He has a 2005 225 Etec on a 24' Prince Craft. He can use some help on this if there is anyone out there familiar with this issue. he has spun hubs on an aluminum and his stainless props. It usually spins in lower RPM's. Thanks in advance.

Buddy of mine hade the same problem but with a suzuki 4stroke and a 23' Proline

Going to a Mercury four blade prop with the Flo Torque Hub Kit will fix it, assuming the splines on his shaft are not the culprit.

I had a 115 hp Etec on my nx 750,wanted to go to a merc prop, they will not fit, even with the proper hub kit,but it really didnt matter,2 months out of factory warranty,it blew a piston, got zero support from BRP,and if you have extended warranty through FPC(first protection corp.)you have no ins.they will blame everything on ethenol fuel, and deny your claim,I had my motor to two different boat shops, both said it was a failed injector,FPC,said it was ethenol related cost me near 4000 bucks,I dumped that piece of trash, and now am back with an opti max,if anyone ever tries to sell me another Etec,i could very easily go postal on them.
