As I've posted before, I get alot of water in the front metal storage box of my Tracker 165 Pro Team when it rains hard. I was wondering if I were to carefully drill some drain holes in the bottom of the box, would that drain directly to the bilge pump? I haven't had much luck keeping the water out, so I thought I'd just let it pass through! Thanks.

Don't know specifically about your boat, but I did that to several compartments on my TV-18 and it works well. I would have to assume yes!!!!!!

Thanks Randy. I had to think it does. I washed and shampooed the carpet a couple of weeks ago and the storage box took on some water. I had the jack raised up high in the front and a while later the box had drained. That's what got me thinkin'.......

Only if it drains right into the hull and not onto and into the foam floatation in the front of the baot?
