O.K.I'll be the first to admit it, I'm a gadget guy.I sometimes buy gadgets that I later have to sell to some other poor fool how suffers from the same affliction."Gadgaholic"its curable but you really have to want to be cured.

Anyways I bought a set of docking lights for my 180 TF not that I ever fish at night, but now I'm wondering were the hec do I mount them ? any suggestions.(with the lights I mean.)

Dock lights on large boats go in the front, in the hull, just below the gunwal in the freeboard. they are put there so you can see to dock without blinding yourself with glare. On a bass boat i would have no idea where they'd go, just make sure they are forward and concealed from the drivers line of sight. Remember they are not to be used while on the open water.

Here is an idea you may be able to use. The light is an automotive running/fog lamp. I made a bracket from 3/4 X 1/8 inch aluminum strip (Home Depot). The pole is a cut down stern light pole with an aluminum plug (.670 inch dia X 1 inch long with 1/4 X 20 threaded hole)which I made.
