anyone know of a good carpet cleaner for my nitro..for just general foot dirt stains..i do know that things like resolve work great but they strip the protective coat off the carpet making it get even more dirty in that spot the next time around. ANY GOOD ,SAFE PRODUCTS OUT THERE?

On our boat carpet we use the Kirby carpet cleaner product that we use in our home vacuum/shampooer. I've used it for spot cleaning coffee/soft drink spills, and ground-in dirt from the wife's nightcrawler bait.

I use mild detergent like u use to do your dishes in a couple gallons of water, then I rinse, then wet & dry vac it all out -- looks like brand new afterwards...

I've read that a solution of 50% vinegar and 50% water and scrub it with a stiff brush and rinse works well.
