Hey guys, need your help. I bought a new Tracker motorguide last year from a guy that bought a new Targa and wanted the 60" shaft instead. Anyhow, the deploy cord broke late in the season last year, and I need another. I never did get a receipt from the guy, I found it here in the swap and sell. I tried to go on the motorguide site, most companies will usually just send you a replacement. Well, motorguide only gives warranty "centers" or dealers. I know that since I never received a receipt, I will get the run around. Do you guys have them there? And how much? It's the 50" shaft, but the mount is the big wator gator. Not sure if it's teh I or II, boats in the shop 30 miles away. Can you help?

Thanks,

Rob

Ken, as your chief of staff, I recommend you bring Craig to camp Rob for some R&R during the rally for his many campaign contributios! This guy is always on the ball, and working hard for his country and oh yeah BPS too! In fact there must be another cabinet position available for him. With all you guys out there, MI sounds like a nice place to go....soon! We can have our first official cabinet meeting.

Sounds good...I'll supply the Corona's, you bring the limes!!!

Be forwarned, the fishing is better than the service you get at BPS Detroit! Hard to beleive but its true!

Mini

I dunno Mini. I'm hard to impress. I live and work on Champlain, the best darn bass fishery in the country. Guess maybe I'm spoiled, because a lot of water that guys tote as great, usually doesn't impress me much. It's nice to go somewhere different, but it takes an awful lot of quality fish for me to be overly impressed. Please don't take it the wrong way, I've been aching to try some Erie smallies. I hear that's the only real rival to Champlain. Would like to try some of those walleye lakes in MN too, man those guys catch eyes, like we catch smallies. It's all relative I suppose!

Hey, BTW, did you guys happen to see page 12 I think of Feb's issue of Bassmaster. Gee what boat did Merc, the biggest baddest outboard company in the world, pick to hang their 225 opti off of for advertising "pure sayonara"? Um weren't no lot a extra purty sparkly thangs......that's right it was a NITRO! Coincidence? We'll let you decide!

Hey Rob,

St. Clair is where the smallies are...Erie's right behind it...and remember, Champlain is a "good" lake but we have the "Great" lakes LOL

Do you agree Mini???

Oh that was low man! Champlain WAS a great lake for a week, but 'ole Billy renegged on the deal! We'll just see what's what when you boys come over for the rally. I'll start looking for houses for you now!

Well I cant argue about Champlain. I never been there, but if you look at the past tournament records Chaplain has given up a better average. A few years back in a BASS Top 150 if you averaged 15 pounds a day for two days you came in 75th place. St Clair used to be like that, but due to the national exposure and added fishing pressure that goes with it, I see it is on a slight decline. Now Lake Erie, Huron and Michigan are completely a different story. LOTS of BIG smallmouth, not the numbers that you can get in the shallower lakes in the chain (yes Champlain included).

Mini

Mini, you have to come for the rally. Just to get a taste and say you fished it. I am admittedly biased (sp?) but I have never been out there either. So, we'll just have to call it a draw. But you have fished south, and the one thing I hear consistently, is that although we'll never have a world record up here, our average is a good pound heftier. Do you agree?
