That is a real nice site. A lot of the same areas that you have covered, I had as well for the site I built. I built this one about 3 years ago for my bass club. I have moved and am no longer the webmaster, but the design is basically the same.

The key I have found is to keep it updated often. If it is not updated often, the guys will stop using it. I also hooked up with Bass Pro affiliates program (see the link at the bottom of the home page). Since all the guys were ordering from Bass Pro, I figured we should get a return on the investment. Bass Pro pays back 5% to the club for any purchases made through the link. Basically, the website pays for itself through our affiliation program. This allowed me to get the domain name and a good hosting service (I used Yahoo) with no pop-ups. :)

Also, I put a "member only" section that is password protected for the guys to be able to get addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses of everybody else without having to post it for the whole world to see.

My design was pretty simple and could probably stand an overhaul... but so far it has stood the test of time.

I am proud to say that my Club was selected as the Illinois Bass Federation Club of the year for 2002... Our website had a lot to do with our earning the award...

here's the site www.nsbass.com I encourage you to look around it is an extensive site.
