Here is the link to a boat on Ebay. I was kinda bored as I was not able to go fishing today. I am outta here on Tuesday though!!!!!! Anyone want to go?

Carlos

Carlos,

Give me some leadtime and I will for sure take you up on a trip. I need to learn the Potomac, is that where you fish?? I am in Warrenton and I usually run to Lake Anna. We could hook up there also. I'm still getting used to my 929, but it is a fantiastic platform to fish out of. I get free launching and guest parking at Anna.

TOXIC

Toxic,

I am still kinda new at the Potomac. I am really good at the fishing, but at times am kinda lean on the catching :) Do like to run the river though. I fish the lower area in the Aquia/Quantico part of the river. I am off this week (on leave) and then back to work. Looks like I will have the next few weekends off if you want to go. I have never fished Lake Anna, but have heard good stories about it. I have lots of cold weather gear and want to try near the Power plant this winter. Any ideas?

Carlos

Carlos,

I'm always game, Anna is not producing really well right now but should turn on soon (Fall bite). When you talk about the power plant, I am assuming that you know that the "hot" side (reactor warm water discharge) is off limits unless you own land on that side of the lake. The "cold" side near the plant runs about 60 feet but will ice up in the winter. Not good for glass boats!! I'll check my schedule and get back to you.

Carlos,

I was going to say lets hit Anna Wednesday or Thursday but re-reading your posts, you are on the water today and I will not be on the board tonight which would be when you could read and respond. Soooooo how about Thursday at Anna--you game? You can call me @ home tonight if need be or get me on the board or e-mail me direct tomorrow. Home:540-349-4431, WK: 202-942-3285, Cell: 202-345-7526.

Reason I say Thursday is that Anna is still pretty busy on the weekends. It's that lake turd thing still.

Ok...let's leave Ken alone now and start calling TOXIC at 3:00 AM!!!!

Don't do it unless you are really polluted, otherwise you might not understand my response. Did I mention that I have trained blackflies?

Scott,

Let me know where and when to bring the boat to!!!! Wife has cleared me hot for the day until about 530Pm when my son has soccer practice. I have been to Anna only one time and that was many years ago. Will bring all my stuff, except the baby one minuses that I launched over the side today....expensive trip on the Potomac. Some one will be happy when they find THAT container....

Carlos,

My treat, park the boat and just load your tackle. That way you can make a clean exit. I need more seat time in my new rig before I start guiding again for the fall bite. Meet me at Sturgeon Creek Marina at 6:30-7:00. Go into the office/tackle shop and tell them you are going out with Teddy Carr/Scott Hammer (name the guide service is in) and they will give you a parking pass. If you need directions to the marina let me know, it's down 208. Lucky me, my Daughter's soccer practice is tonight LOL!!

Tox,

Have the directiosn and am looking at leaving the house at 0530. Will meet you there around 0630. Mapquest says it takes about an hour to get there. Sound cool?

Carlos

Hey Carlos...My son's platoon got "smoked" 3 times yesterday...the thought the DS meant 20 or 25 minutes when he said 15!!!

Let's hope this wind blows itself out before tomorrow!! Big cold front moving in and this last weekend I saw scads of bait jumping soooooo, they might be getting ready to fatten up!! You might look in the tackle shop for cranks (since it sounds like you donated yours to the Potomac), that might be what they are hitting.

See you tomorrow.

TOXIC

Ken,

HAHAHAHHAHAH I am laughing!!!!! The DS time warp, does not get any better then THAT!!!! HAHAHAHAH Did they have to do extra PT? Bet he is not having too good a time, but remember that bootcamp is a FINITE experience (thank goodness) and that it will be over soon. I always remember the days being LONG and the months being short. If it helps any, have him look at the next days training schedule and try to get his stuff ready the night before during free time.

Tox,

Will make the run here in a little bit. Wife went to work early and I have to pick up 2 ceiling fans from her to install. I can make a little "side trip" and pick up a few. To say the least she was not overly happy to hear of my annomious donation.....

Lot's of extra PT... he called last night, he's homesick but like you said, I told him it will end and he WILL NOT FAIL!!!

Ken,

The one day at a time deal is in effect for sure!!! If they are doign lots of extra PT then the xhow is still good anyway :) That will be the next complaint. Do they have MREs at his bootcamp? Tell him I said hello and to keep his chin up and blend in with the rest of the heard!!!!

Thanx Carlos...they do have MRE's, I'm sure he'll like them better than chow!!!
