What length shaft should be used on these boats - 20" or 25"? I have a 2005 18' CC with a 90hp Mercury (20" shaft) and have a bad cavitation problem. I'm running an 18 pitch Vengeance prop. The motor is mounted in the top hole (so the motor is at its lowest setting). The motor cavitates really bad during hole shot and if you get into while running on plane (acceleration to top end from cruising speed).

thx

Jerry,

kenner made that boat with two different models. a 20 and 25 inch transom. the only way to know is to measure your transom. keep in mind some transoms are not exactly 20 or 25 inches, so it may be within a couple inches. normally the 20 inch model has a sort of dip in the transom in other words the transom is not the same level from side to side.
