I just got off the phone with Bruce's wife. Surgery went well and seems to be doing well. He will be in the hospital a few days yet, but the surgeon seems to be very satisfied with the preliminary results.
Bad side of the story.........the medic told him no fishing for two months.

He might not like the 'no fishing' stuff but it's something he better listen to! Some guys, and I'm not going to mention any names, get hurt and then don't listen to their back Doctor and so go right ahead and get hurt even worse. Now he gets to fish about two times a year, with help from friends. So be sure to tell him to take it easy and listen to whatever the Doctor says and do whatever the Doctor orders him to do!
