Broken air preasuer pump

My air preasure pump broke. The long screw goes un to buttom hole of the pump. Which the threads broke inside the motor head or where it srews on. The two places where the screw goes on top are also broken. The boat is at a dealer being worked on. My motor is out of warranty as of last march and it's a 135 mercury. My total bill for getting it fixed is at $1,750.00. O O U C H ! ! ! Oh well that's the beauty of having a boat. Looks like I'm going to have to use my wife's checks. I hope that she don't find out.

Sorry to hear your troubles but look at the bright side. At least you get to fish Falcon all the time!!!

If you need to fish and don't have a ride, let me know. I'm retired and usually free, except for grandson and I can get there in about 3 1/2 hours.

I'd check with Merc to see if there is a service bulletin on that, something is wrong right there......
