Fatrap.. others that work for Bass Pro your help is needed. I want to purchase the tempress 5 pc. bench boat seats from Bass Pro. Can someone tell me how the backs of the seats bolt on. Read many review, folks complaining about no mounting hardware or instructions. Your help will be appreciated,

Tox, I purchased 2 of the Tempress seats for my front and rear deck. I am very happy with them, high quality and thought the bench seat would be no big deal... However now I am wondering. Thanks for the advise, hopping I can get everything to match,

Fatrap, no I have not bought them. The ones I have are for the fishing seats( front and rear deck seats) . The one in question is the bench seat. How does the backs go on the driver and passenger seats??????

We don't have any. They can be ordered from Tracker but we don't stock them. I can't see how they are packed with out instructions. Sorry.

Thanks guys. Fatrap, I cannot understand that either. However I read the reviews on them and that is what is said. I phoned them, and e-mailed them no responce. I am starting to believe I will go another way. I wish I would have know this before I purchased the casting seats for $100.00 each. If you cannot get customer service when you are trying to purchase them, I hate to think if I had a problem with them. Several of my friends like the casting seats, but I will be adding some imput from now on.

If the link below is the bench set you reference, the seat backs do not attach to the boat. They fold down. (Usually with a tether snap.) The seat bases are your mounting points.

Dan, thank you very much!!! That is the answer I was looking for, and yes those are the seats in question. Would you know if they fold down separetly, or all together?????

They look like they are seperate tops/backs with mounting bases/bottoms. That's the way I've seen these in use also. Fold one or both, or all. Good luck!

Call 1-800-BASS-PRO (1-800-227-7776) and ask for a product specialist. (You might have to hold a minute or two.) They will hunt down the ins and outs for you. (That's what I did! ) It would be worth a call before purchase/installation and/or during the install.
