I wonder how they had the boat displayed. All of ours on on the ground. By the way Bass Pro Shops Spring Fishing Classic kicks off today, fatrap

Might have been on the ground and flipped but I'll bet it was on a "rocket launcher" which tilts the boat skyward. That's the way the Tracker tin rig is displayed at the Hampton store where I am doing the show. Sad news. Big $$ lawsuit I'll wager.

TOXIC

Hey guys im a medic w/ Nash Fire and i actually walked in the store (off duty) and there were 3 little kids playing in that boat. it sits right in front of the big entry doors. I think it was a Tracker 17ft w/ 60hp on it, sitting on a trailer. I only had to get 3-4 specific thing so came out like 10-15 later and saw all the drama unfolding. 3 firetrucks, ladder, rescue, 2 chiefs and 3 ambulances. It actually folded the boat around the people and mainly had them trapped, one was pinned pretty good. All 3 from same family that were from out of town. Fortunately the kids that I saw were not involved. could have been a lot worse and could've been me.......I would have settled for a z-9 though and made it easy on em.

Tragic accident. Thankfully, no life-threatening injuries.

Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and there won't be a law suit (or even the threat of legal action) against the store or corporation - afterall, the cause was a driver that lost control of his truck and hit the display on a sidewalk (police cited the driver for failure to control his vehicle). Not the fault of BPS. Still at a loss as to why people see every accident as a lottery ticket. :(
