Bilge Pump?????

It looks like I'm going to have to replace my Bilge pump. Mine is no longer putting out enough pressure to force the water up the hose.

I currently have a Rule 2000 (2000 gph) in the boat. The replace cost for this seems to be about $80.00. What size pump do most of you have in your boats? Do I need a pump this large?

Having the same problem. Uses a volt meter to check the voltage at the connectors. I'd bet your not getting enough juice. Nothing like wet connectors and wires to help the corrosion process along.

The size of the pump will depend on how fast you are taking on water??
