Battery wet cell collection

Those of you that have a wet cell battery instead of a sealed agm or gel cell battery. Do you use a special spill tube/collection bottle just in case you hit choppy water and not have acid spill out into bilge area

Just make sure your batteries are secured and they should be fine.
 
I've never used any type of spill tube or collection bottle. My first reaction to your posting would make me question whether you have good quality battery caps. If you do, that should pretty much cover it. The other thing is to make certain that the batteries are not 'over filled'.

I use full boxes but then, I have never found electrolyte in the bottom of the box. Just makes me feel better about it and no chance of shorting the battery out.
