Battery prob!

OK i pulled the two trolling motor batts out of the Nitro just now and put the battery in from my skiff. Hooked it up to the charger and BADABING! the charger lit up like it should (green, battery was charged).



So i'm 99% sure its a bad battery problem and not a charger problem!

also, now that i need to buy new batts. What kind? I would like to get Trojans but i'm not sure how much money i'll be able to spend. I've had good luck with Everstarts in teh past plus walmart is good to replace them.

oh yeah..and since i have the batteries out..i'd love to take it to the lake with about 1/4 tank of gas, no fishing equipment....just boat motor and me and see if i can get this thing to run a little bit!



but my truck is in the shop....ARGH!!!

Let's see...you're in high school and you have a truck and a bass boat....just have mom and dad buy you another truck!! I wish I had those kind of problems when I was in school!! LOL!!!

I was probably one of the first to fish out of an inner tube.

Had no other way out to the good spots, so I took a truck-tire tube and put my fins on and away I went.

Now they sell fishing-tubes for big $$$$$!!!

Had to peddle the old bike about a mile and a half (up hill both ways of course) to a river near by. Caught frogs for bait in the cow pasture next to the river. Had one old spincast reel on a rod bought at a Holiday gas station.



Wasn't much but we had a great time!

We would take feed sacks and tie them to inner tubes for seats and float the river.
