Back home from the hospital one more time :)

This time I was in for surgery, though nothing major. Had an ambilical (sp?) hernia repaired yesterday and the doc says 3 weeks before I can lift anything over 20 lbs.

The pond down the street is 99% open and all I can do is look. I'm almost glad that it's been too cold to get the canoe out on the water.

I'd normally be spending this time getting the boat uncovered, in the garage, and rigged up for the season. I may just have to get my brother-in law over to start the work in progress

You'll be fine in about two weeks;) I had a double...ambilical and groin:eek:

Doc said 4 weeks...I was back to work in 1 1/2 but, of course I work behind a desk now.

Be patient and let it heal. Every individual heals at a different rate and 2-3 weeks is the tme period given in general for most people.:)

Like they said, take your time and let it heal. A second repair surgery takes longer and is a whole lot less fun. Did I mention that they start charging $$ all over again?
