Things have gotten very shaky at work as I predicted. They are working their way down the list. I know I will be one of the last to go as I make them so much, (I'm only prolonging my own agony) so I have decided not to be here when the axe falls on the entire company. I have been advised to check with one of our competitors, that has recently expanded greatly, due to the contracts they have won, and we have lost (the reason for our dilemna). They are eager to snatch me up as a consultant, but it would mean moving to Hornell NY. That is about 5 hours away. It is half way between Erie PA (Lake Erie) and Rochester NY, (Ontario). It is also about an hour away from most of the finger lakes, so although my towing time would greatly increase, I should still be able to manage my guide service. Plus I hear the deer hunting is great down there. Anyone out that way have any info?
