Anyone Familiar with Lake Travis (TX)

I have an opportunity to use a house on Lake Travis in Texas. However I know absolutly nothing about it. I don't even know where it is. Found a little bit of information about it on the net but pictures were scarse.



Give me the scoop if ya got it?

I only have a little information. Cold and deep, as are some of the lakes in the area. Not sure how the 'fishing' is there, as it's been too long since I've been there. However, it's pretty much known as a ski/party lake, not really a fishing lake.



It's in the Austin (TX) area.

Its the Austin area water park playground. Spent a week there 2 years ago at a house. Usually loaded, in the summer, with cigarette boats and jet skis. And plenty of college kids.



Nice lake, should not be too crowded this time of year.



I did not do any good fishing this lake for 3 days.

Can't remember for sure but I think I was there for a company picnic about 20 years ago. Is that the lake with "Hippie Holler" where they have the nude beach? If it is, you might want to go and leave the tackle at home.
