I know there has been a lot of talk about props, but just wanted anyone's advice or help with what I should get. I have a Nitro 911 cdc, that has a 25 pitch tempest, that needs some work, but I have been wanting a new one, so I can have spare. Alot of talk about the fury's, and just didn't know what people think. My nitro is not a rocket, but a stable boat in rough water. Any help would be great Thanks:D

There are bound to be a number of posts here....but......I like the Tempest wheel. Large diameter, fast, bow holding prop. If it works for you, stick with it...

I like the Fury that I have on my boat, and I've used a Tempest as well. I prefer the Fury for my boat.

However... I have to agree with Bob B. when it comes to the 911. I've known a few people that own them, and a 25 pitch Tempest is their best wheel.

All the best,

Glenn

I have a 911 with a 250 verado. i have used tempest in 25, and 26 (b&b by mark croxton) and now am using a 25 Fury, it has a much better hole shot, and top end very similar to the 26 tempest, 72 ish mpg.

The difference between the two rigs would be set-back and weight. The Verado equipped boat does not need as much "bow lifting capability" as the 2-stroke boat. Verados have more set-back built in to the motor clamp bracket, to the tune of two additional inches. Add a few pounds and we have more leverage.......;)

I run the 911CDC, with a 250XS Opti, when i want a quick hole shot, or run our one sand bar infested resevoir, I have two 24 Tempests that I run, for my faster cleaner water areas, i have two good props, one being the Tempest, and the other the Fury, both 25 pitch, the only real difference in the two, is the hole shot is a bit better with the Tempest than the Fury, and the Fury is just a tad bit faster overall, but only like 1-1.5 MPH on the GPS. with that all being said, take your pick, but if running heavy, or in very hot areas, remember that the most affected item is the hole shot.

i like both
