That's bad. We had one here in Okla at Texoma that killed 5. I've got some pictures I'll post in a new thread.

We have had a few boating fatalities this year in and around Charlotte NC. Most of the deaths have come from drownings. Most of the lakes have a nice sandy or mud beach then drop straight down. Most are immigrants and cant read english that says no swimming allowed, so we have another floater. So if you are like us and like to just lay around and float in the water in the summer be safe wear a life vest. Also if the big motor is running kill switch and vest, be safe.
 
My lake house is at Lake Of The Ozarks in Missouri the Coast Guard calls it the third most dangerous water in the U.S. only beaten by the Atlantic and Pacific ocean last month we had 8 people killed alot of people have no sense
