I'm considering a 911CDC and I'm curious how you like yours. Please include which motor you've got and estimated top speed?

How does it fish with two people?

Thanks!

John

I've had mine for about a year now... cant see wanting any other boat...

2 people, 2/3 tank of gas...hit 70+ (250XB w/25 tempest).

Handles rough water like a dream, can easily fish in 15-20MPH winds on Lake Cumberland.

If you're in the Lexington KY area, i'll take you out and show you all about it.

Just looked at your member profile... how close to Cumberland are you? (Dale Hollow even)

Sim - I still can't believe the STEEL you got that for from Pat before he left the Nitro dealer!

MAN that is a sweet rig! I want one!! Of course then i'd have to get a Truck!

Trep would you make up your mind, you had Tin and stepped up to Glass. On the swap and sell page you are trying to go Tin again and NOW you want a 911........

BF....................

Trep... no STEEL... this is a Fiberglass boat...well, maybe the Stainless STEEL prop counts...

I did get it for a STEAL tho!

:D:D

I still need to drag it down and show you what a real boat is all about!

John I have a 898DC w/ 225 opti about 10 hours on it (see swap and sell)

28500.00 and its loaded.

I have a 2001 with a 225 EFI 4 blade tropth 25p. it takes rough water like a champ when other boats slow down I can keep it rolling and keep dry and for you all who know the Potomac it can beat you up I have had prop time more than once there and that all the weight is distributed right down the center of the boat for better balance.. more than enough room on the front deck for 2 people to fish. if i can recall with light load 69-72 mph on my GPS. Verry stable when runnig around the deck fighting a fish

I' selling mine next fall and getting a new one and have not ever conciderd anything different.

Even though these boats are not the 'norm', they are still sweet looking rigs. Hoping to fish out of one sometime in the future, as I think the center design is really nice.

I am completely pleased with mine, it is very fishable, wide 98" beam, lots of storage

so that the backseater can put his gear away. i have a 250 verado, it gets a lot of attention

in the parking lot! it has a tempest 25p prop, and i have had it to 71 mph (gps), without

messing with the factory setup.

Great big water boat. Not a rocket, but not intended to be. (I ran a 225 Opti/10" Bass Jack/25P Trophy on my 2000.) I've fished four men out of it comfortably. (Guiding) I had mine on Lake Ontario, Lake Okeechobee, and numerous other large bodies of water in BASS T's without the first bit of spray or hesitation in some very dicey conditions. The center seating rides higher than normal and gives a better line of sight, after getting used to it. (Sitting in the middle.) Solid boat, but I'd steer clear of the '99 to early 2000 models. They were still getting hull tweaks perfected. IMHO
