700 lx transom defect

Wow bad transom.? I have the same 700lx.with the 125 and a manual jack plate not one issue.the only problem I have is that it will only go 64mph at wot.looking to go 70 mph.

Clayton, the original thread is about seven years old. Bad transoms can happen to nearly ANY boat.

And you will not see 70mph out of a 125 on a 17ft boat unless it is going down the highway on your trailer.
