Thinking about purchasing a 23 Nitro Z20 Pro from BPS. Can someone tell me the pluses and minuses of purchasing a 'new' boat that is a year old? Appreciate your feedback.
Best way to buy them. Resale value is never going to be good so get what you want as economically as you can and enjoy.Thinking about purchasing a 23 Nitro Z20 Pro from BPS. Can someone tell me the pluses and minuses of purchasing a 'new' boat that is a year old? Appreciate your feedback.
Like any boat it’s always good to thoroughly inspect every inch of the boat and motor. Some boats made during the pandemic saw a lack of good quality control. Also check the boat’s motor manufacturer date. Don’t assume it’s the same year as the boat or what’s stated on the sale agreement. Because I didn’t. Because I assumed everyone would be honest. I’m sure everything will work out great for you.Thinking about purchasing a 23 Nitro Z20 Pro from BPS. Can someone tell me the pluses and minuses of purchasing a 'new' boat that is a year old? If the theft took place at the repair shop it would seem that the place where the boat was being repaired is legally responsible for theft on their property. That’s a lot of money. Talk to a lawyer and your insurance company.I bought a 2021 z21 pro new. The problem I have had is not the boat it's had very few issues. My problem is with Bass Pro and White Water Marine. After 4 months I had bearing failure that damaged the axle. They wouldn't cover it under warranty. After 9 weeks in the shop the boat was broken into and striped from the tallons to the trolling motor and everything in-between. Bass Pro denied any responsibility. So from here on out I will do no more business with Bass Pro. Customer service stinks.
I took them to court and lost. I signed a weaver of liability so service could be done. Did you have the boat insured?I took them to court and lost. I signed a weaver of liability so service could be done. Thinking that it would be covered under warranty.
Wow. Sorry to hear that. I guess it’s just getting harder to find honest repair shops.I took them to court and lost. I signed a weaver of liability so service could be done. Thinking that it would be covered under warranty.
Yes I had insurance but unfortunately it only covers my personal items on the boat. Their stance was BP had the responsibility of safe storage.Did you have the boat insured?
Guess I should read my boat insurance policy also to see what it covers in a situation like this. Would have thought any equipment bolted to the boat would have been covered.Yes I had insurance but unfortunately it only covers my personal items on the boat.
