2000 Nitro 901 with 200 Mercury EFI - diameter needed for fuel line

Hello - I'm looking for some help determining what diameter the fuel line should be from the tank to the motor. Currently, there is a hose clamped to the gas tank that runs to a primer ball and then the primer ball to the motor. I'm 90% sure the fuel line on both sides of the primer bulk is the same size.

I would also like opinions on the need for a primer ball. My motor has had the primer ball for the 20 years I've owned it. Mercury suggested that I don't need a primer ball because it's an EFI. Do you agree?

Thats correct..EFI does not need a primer ball, Your motor has fuel injectors like a newer car instead of the old carburetor system older ones had, no need to prime float bowl anymore because there is not one to prime .. My suggestion is go here Mercury Parts Finder...enter the serial number of your engine, and get the proper part/parts.
