1999 700 LX Livewell pump

Hi,

My livewell pump isnt working so I am looking to replace it but I am not sure what to replace it with to make the switch as easy as possible. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

remove the pump and take it with you to walmart or bass pro or other shop and try to get an exact replacement. this will make things a lot simpler .if the pump shaft is frozen or the pump is blocked with some trash it may be possible to fix the problem . just remember if its not working now it wont be not working any worse if your attempt to fix it wont work.

The pump removes with a counter clockwise rotation from the base, If you're lucky, and just replace the pump using the old base.
