Do I need a plug to keep the livewell from draining when the aerator switch is on? Also I don't think I have overflow, so does this mean I need to continuously turn the aerator on and off? Any suggestions or input would help.

Thanks

You should have a straight piece of PVC that fits in the hole at the bottom of your live well. (this will make a water tight seal) When water reaches the top, the over flow goes down the PVC and out via the drain. Someone may have a pic of it that explains it better.

Hope this helps.
