Headin to Lake erie, for the smallie action tomorrow morning around 5am.(its a 6 hour drive for me). Never been there before and will spend the next 3 days tryin to hook up with a personal best smallie(current is 5 1/4lbs 21.5" caught at the thousand islands, ny) Anyway I'll post the pics of what pop and I catch when i get back(if any), the main thing is I get to spend time with Dad on the water(he is 62 years old) Wish me luck

Good luck, Mike. I fished Erie May 1 out of Port Clinton, OH. Fished for walleye, caught the boats limit..also caught a bunch of sheepshead, 3 huge smallies, and even 2 cats. Caught everything on 3/4 oz jigs with Stinger trailers. Again, have a good time and good luck.
