Water pressure Gaugge

I am installing a Teleflex water pressure gauge on a 2001 Procrappie 175 running a 40 HP 2 cycle/2cylinder Mercury. Does anyone know where the water pressure tube and fitting should be connected to the motor? There is a brass (unpainted)hexagonal plug above the top spark plug and another painted one below the bottom spark plug. Teleflex claims that the plug to use is BETWEEN the two spark plugs.

I put one on mine 90 it was the brass plug on top.You can your self by running with water muffs and crack the brass plug loose
