We've done this before but there are a lot of new members and some of the oldtimers have changed jobs. I think it's always interesting to know a little more about you guys & gals.





I am an Outside Sales Rep for Lifestyles Inc. I call on new homebuilders helping them with the interior and exterior lighting packages for the homes they build. We have the largest lighting showroom in the state of Oklahoma and one of the largest in the nation. I just started working there in Febuary.

I've used your products, but never knew anything about y'all selling lights. I usually just buy them at Walgreens. They're next to the Trojan batteries. :)
 
I work at Christian Heritage Academy (where i go to school) working with the Summer Camp for elementary kids.



I also build baits for a tackle company here in Oklahoma
 
I sell flooring maintenance supplies to the rental and flooring industry nationwide by telephone. Sanding papers, buffing/cleaning pads. diamond and abrasive saw blades, carbide tipped rotary hammer bits, etc.
 
I work for IBM and have held many positions in my 7 years there. I am currently a Team Leader and support IBM Global Services.

I am the Product manager for Pure Fishing Canada. I am responsible for all the products we distribute in Canada. I an involved in rod, reel and tackle design. I also oversee our warranty Dept. Basically , I design or decide what we we sell into Canada. The brands we own are Berkley, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, Mitchell, Spider, Stren, And SevenStrand Saltwater. Been here for just over 4 years.
 
Network Engineer... Consulting through my own company and as a sub-contractor for others...
 
I work for IBM as a Project Executive. Basicaly a Manager of Project Managers and head customer relationship owner for IBM's Training divisions - So other IBM folks are my customers.



I'm proud to say i've now latested LONGER at IBM then any company in my 16 years since college!! That's almost 4 years! Always worked in the computer/IT area, done everything from program to training to consulting to management to process improvment and quality. Just had to do all those jobs for 7 different companies!!! LOL



Oh, and 'cause I KNOW someone will bring it up, I work from home as do all but 1 of my employees (his choice).

I own two companies, Coastal Builders - a residential remodeling company, and Coast to Coast Music - a web based music store specializing in harmonicas.
 
Warehouse supervisor (Customer Service Supervisor) for National Gypsum Co. (wallboard manufacturer). Been working for them in various capacities for just short of 20 years.

Great job that gives me most weekends off so that I can fishfafun!!!!!!!!!!!

Officially, a 29 year plus GM autoworker. Actually started in '73 at the old Chevy St. Louis plant while still in high school but layoffs cost me some time. While fishing with my bro-in-law yesterday I told him about how after all else failed trying to fix a computer virus,I came here to the good ol' NTOWS.It didn't take too long untill somebody (thank's Glenn) gave me a simple solution.

I told him there are so many people from so many parts of the USA and so many different walks of life,that somebody somewhere would be able to help out with any problem you may have.

I am glad there is a off-topic button,it sure beats just talking about boats.

Before that I worked as the office and shop manager of a structural steel fabricator. And before that I was a professional auto mechanic. I like Steve's job!

Still in the printing business, (yes, you can thank me for SOME of your occasional junk mail, lol), been running a variety of printing presses for about 19 years now, also, my wife and I own a small cleaning service company

(residential, commercial, and exterior storefront cleaning) that is slowly but steadily growing, we've only begun to get serious about it this year, but are happy with the growth over the last 6 months....... egMike
 
mechanic on just about any kind of vehicle,work for petro truck stops as #2 diesel mechanic,plus tire tech,and a lube tech,in other words sling grease and oil and bust tires,plus do all the repairs on any vehicle that comes in,and then some.



i get to see what is out there on the roads and what is driving those 80,000 lb vehicles,and you know what,it scares the hell out of me,since 75% can barely speak my launguage,and the condition of the vehicles are well,to put it quite plainly,JUNK!!



but its kind of good working nights,not much hassle,get them in,fix them,get them out!
 
Owner of a communications cabling company in NJ. We install cabling for telephone systems, networks, sat, CCTV, CATV and security.
 
Work with my Dad at Smith Brothers Contracting which was started in 1959 when my Grandpa came here from West Virginia. I just do odd jobs around the shop like cleaning up detailing trucks and heavy equipment sort of like Steves but not as big...:) and whatever else needs to be done. I like to get my hands dirty. Also I help my neighbor who is a farmer put hay in his barn. I should also be starting a job at Wendys pretty soon too...:)

Active duty United States Marine. A GySgt. My current "billet" is one that deals with Range Safety on USMC Ranges. I am also a Support Equiptment Mechanic, a CH46 Crew Chief, have also been privleded to be the head coach and shooter on the USMC Rifle team. Oh, just went over 21 years too. One more to go until I retire and have to work for a living.

Next Monday, I'll have 19 years in as biologist for the Army Corps of Engineers here in Kansas City. Have had fun with the politics of the Missouri River water war and working to restore fish and wildlife habitat on the Missouri River from Sioux City to St. Louis.

Firebird, Band Director eh? Both of my kids are band kids. My son is just starting 9th grade, plays the French Horn. My daughter graduated a couple of years ago, played Bass Clarinet and was in the Color Guard. My wife and I are nuts for the marching competitions. You've got one tough job there.



Dale, I've never fished Okeema but I have heard some good things about it. Let me know, I would be happy to meet up with you sometime. It's quite a drive for you isn't it? It's a beautiful area over there.

SoonerFan, marching band is on my agenda beginning next week. I finish my summer program today and then bury myself for several hours every day on my computer writing drill for the upcoming season. Then a week in Minnesota with the family and then its back here getting music, percussion, and uniforms ready for the coming school year. I have 6th through 12 grades. Thanks for supporting bands and the arts.

Im a Computer Geek for Bose Corporation. My main area is in the desktop arena. I design out coporate standard"build" that gets loaded on all out machines, in that there is a lot of automation/configuration the meet needs of both business people and engineers. I also am the anti virus guy as well as the person who is resposnible for desktop security patches. Basically if it goes on a users desktop is comes thru me
 
Like policemen, government, and hospitals, everybody hates attorney's until they need one. Dewey is a good guy and one of my homeboy's. I vote he stays.

I'll say this for Ed, I bought my boat off of him in 2001, and haven't had to walk into his dealership since. They do things right out RT 8! Incidently, I did run into Ed at a sportsman show and he remembered me and my boat after 3 years! I just hope it's because mine wasn't the last one sold...

ED from rt.8 marine also has helped me out when my power trim motor burned up.

It is a no longer available part and he took the time to explain all the options that I had to get back on the water again.



It's not that we don't like Tracker dealers.It's that we don't like any kind of dealer that forgets about you as soon as your check clears.
 
Man-o-man are we a group of misfit fishermen!! If we ALL got together I'll bet it would look like the bar scene from Star Wars!!LOL!! I close Banks and S&L's most of the time but when not doing that I am the Senior Realty Specialist for the FDIC in Washington, DC. Been with them for 20 years and my list of job titles would boggle the mortal mind. As an aside I guide on Lake Anna in Virginia.

I repair electronic test equipment for the Government. I was a DoD employee (Civil {silly} service for 31 yrs. Now I work for a government contractor until my wife retires from the County Board of Education. Then we'll buy a fifth wheel and hit the roads. Provided we are still here 4 years from now and gas isn't $5 a gallon.
