Well, things on the job market are definitely picking up in our neck of the woods. I've been fielding calls regularly for about 6 weeks now. I have accepted (and turned in my notice) where I am at and start a new 'gig' sometime in the next 10 days (I'll know more on that tomorrow or Friday). It's a contract gig, but has 'some' benefits and pays time and a half also! WOW! Supposed to be some OT on this, so maybe I can get 'well' a little sooner.

I'll be riding the 'train' to downtown Dallas (from the DFW Airport area), as that is a better solution than driving (traffic, gas, time, parking, etc) that I would have if I drove. Fairly good schedule and 10 minutes from the house. Very short walk from the light rail in downtown Dallas also (about a block).

:D :D :D :p
