St. Croix or G. Loomis:

For xmas my wife has informed me to pick out a rod and she would pay for it as one of my gifts. I own 26 St. Croix's Elite or Legend Bass models, and I was thinking of trying a G. Loomis GLX rod. I want a drop shot spinning rod. It will be matched up with either a Shimano Stella 1000 or a Stella 2500. I have never used any other rod then St. Croix and I was wondering if I would be happy with the G.Loomis. Thanks. Alos what other rod might I want to look at besides G. Loomis.. I would really like to try a Ever Green rod but I can't seem to located any in the states. Anyone know where I could get a Ever Green rod?

You sure do need another rod Buzz I think you'd absolutely love a GLX Loomis but If I could have whatever I wanted it would be a Kistler. And for dropshotting it would be the one I've added the url for..

i have 2 of the non-glx gloomis drop shot rods, 1 spin cast, 1 bait caster

i like them both alot.. the fat fish in my folder, the one titled 'coyote....'

was caught on the bait caster.
