I have a year 2000 Nitro boat cover for a 175 sport that has a few holes punched in it. They are about the size of a nickel. The previous owner put some kind of tape on there that wore off in the sunlight (He kpet it in a garage but I'm keeping it outside)

I don't know what kind of material the cover if made from so I don't know what kind of patch kit to get.

Tear aid has a kit that patches various types but one is for vinyl and the other is for everything else.

Does anyone know which type would be best for this cover?

Mike - at that age (ten years), the fabric on your cover is probably worn out in places in addition to where the holes are. It may be time to invest in a new cover. You can patch the holes, but more holes, rips or tears are bound to show. That's happened to two of my covers on separate boats and while I could patch for a short time, eventually, I had to replace. The link below has some nice covers at a decent price. I'm on my third year with the Storm Pro by Stearns for my bass boat.
