Livewell Aerator And Recirc Question

Hi, I have a Nitro Z-7 with split livewell. Is the aerator and the recirculator run off the same pump? If so, is it better to run the aerator only when the air and water temps are high to keep introducing fresh water into the livewell?

This boat should have a aerator pump and a recirculator pump (which also services as a pump out to empty the live well). In the how season have used both pumps the aerator pump to bring in fresh water the recirculatory pump the pump out water. You can also use an fish alive additive with the recirculatory pump. If you are worried about keeping the fish alive there is also a oxygen generator that can be installed in your live well.
