decided to mix the oil & gas before putting the fuel in a 1996 160TF (R. Clunn), with a 75HP, which is an EFi motor, I’ve drained tank, new lines, fuel filter, etc.; you name it…It has fired, cranked but, can’t get to idle… Any ideas?…

did it run before? how much oil? check plugs for fouling
We found, it had been sitting up and the bowels were stuck in the carburetors. Cleaned it all up, new gas, etc. Running like a beauty… Thanks for the advice, I will always take it…
It had a mechanic change all the plugs, new power pack, etc… Just didn’t bleed the mixed oil & gas out I guess…
I took it to a mercury mechanic after must frustration…
