19 months after being laid off, the wife has a new job..! We are VERY happy people today..!

She is once again working for a Chrysler supplier and doing almost the same job she lost 19 months ago. And the beauty of it is, she is the ONLY person in her company and the supply line for that matter who handles this particular job, which equates to a decent level of job security.

The past 19 months have been tough..but we made it, albeit a little banged up financially, but our family is still together with a roof over our heads..and now with the ability to come clawing back.

Congrats Smitty! That had to be an incredibly stressful 19 months. Glad to hear about your light at the end of that tunnel.

Congrats on you and your family being able to get back to normal again. Good jobs are

tough to get but it sounds like your wife managed well to get one.

Congratulations! Almost nothing better than the feeling of getting that job offer, and starting back to work. Glad that you and yours are doing better now.

Congrats!

I work in HR and the phone, e-mail etc... has never slowed down in over two years.
