Anybody read this month's bassmaster?

In the 'how to save money' section, I guy wrote in about sticking the tail section of a plastic worm inside a tube...so the tail sticks out past the little tenticles on the tube...

Anybody tried this?

Was thinking it might give them something different to look at...

I read that too, it sounds like a good idea I'm going to try. I have used black Berkley Bungee Tail worms as a jig trailer with some sucess.

Oh yeah....Bassmaster...I let my subscription run out...i need to renew that.

What all have i missed? any good little tid bits of advice?

I take some of my tube hooks and tie a hunk of Marabou on the bend.

Chartruse for some color in dirty water,or brown/brown for clear water.

Just a little bit of current and the Marabou "tenticals" will come alive.

in muddy to murky water I have had good luck on big fish using a Strike King wild thing creature bait with a 9" Zoom mag II worm shoved up in the back of it with a rattle. Makes for a very large bait - use at least a 4/0 hook.

I did it on Lake Erie in Buffalo with a 3" Senko and out fished my boater that way.

I haven't read that article yet but that sounds very interesting. So far in this issue I've only read about a "Day on the Lake" with Joe Thomas.
