I have been fortunate to fish a few tournaments in the Dominican Republic and had the opportunity to do it again yesterday. We placed first in the team event, and I ended up high point in the tournament due to catching the 2nd largest Dolphin (Mahi)of 45 and a blue marlin of about 200. The blue was released in good shape, but I'm hurting today as we were not marlin fishing so I had a straight standup rod without a harness. I'm supposed to have a video coming, I can't wait to see it, it sure put on a show. My friend's son took the largest Mahi (exactly 50lbs). It was a great day, and we sure had fun at the awards ceremony. These are mostly social events and not big money tournaments so I'm going to be working tomorrow......Here are a few pics, hope you enjoy them, I put one in so you all can see the Ocoa area scenery.
