HELLO........does anybody know what the size difference is in a 155 and a 175 tires?? which is the tallest, and by how much ?? i was told the 175 was about 1 inch taller than the 155 tire.......anybody who knows please let me know soon ok.......thnxxxxx........paul [email protected]

Hey Paul,

Try this.

How To Read A Sidewall:

P-Metric (example 1) P215/65R15

P = Passenger Car

215 = Section width measured in millimeters (25.4 millimetes per inch)

65 = Aspect Ratio, which means the sidewall height is 65 percent of the section width.

R = Radial Carcass Construction

15 = Rim Diameter

So with the info above, the 175 is wider than the 155. The second set of numbers on your tire will determine height.

Hope this helps

Max
