Well I have always made it a point to learn something when I go fishing...buts thats not what this post is about.
I have a friend who called me and said he went fishing in a pond near his house and didn't catch a thing. He was getting tired because it was a pond and he likes ponds more than lakes. After being there for a little while an older gentleman came to him and said he could fish the pond all he wanted but he had never stocked it and it gets dry in the summer!
I thought it was funny maybe it'll bring a smile to your face to.
What suprised me the most was that my friend ALWAYS asked to fish a new pond. I am not sure where this one is so maybe there's not a house on the property but its within a couple miles from his house and he lives in semi-rural area.
