Hey Guys,
My Nitro 929 is a grey/silver metallic. Its was a repo'd boat when I bought it and the original owner did not take the best care of it. As a result there is a slight hint of "yellowing" color that you can see from an angle when looking at the top or deck edge.
I have wet sanded part of it to see if that would help but from what I can tell, it did little.
People that have seen it tell me the yellowing is actually coming from with in the gel coat. Apparently the sun bakes the gel coat then the metallic reflects the sun and bakes it again.
I am hoping there is some chemical or fix that somebody may be aware of...other than the traditional ..wetsand, polish and wax routine.
help
